Wedding located in White Plains, Kentucky
Laura and Robbie planned for a wedding in April, but eventually decided it would be best to get married with their closest friends and family in an intimate wedding in June. Laura and Robbie planned their new wedding day and included several meaningful and special ideas that perfectly showed their personalities. June 6th turned out to be everything they dreamed their wedding day would be and more. The day started with the bride, bridesmaids, and her Mom getting ready in the home Laura had lived in since she was thirteen years old. I loved getting to capture Laura getting ready in her home and I truly believe that makes these photos even more meaningful.
I also know how special it is for Laura’s Mom, Missy, to have these memories of Laura at home on her wedding day.
Not to mention, Laura did a first look with her Dad right outside their house. Just look how sweet!
Laura was such a sweet, calm, and beautiful bride!! Nothing was going to change how excited she was to marry Robbie.
The groom and groomsmen were getting ready at Laura and Robbie’s new home, which also happens to be Laura’s Great Great Grandmother’s house! The ceremony was in their backyard!
Such a fun wedding party!!
Throughout the photos, you will see this GORGEOUS truck that was restored by her Paw. This was such a special way to honor her grandfather and notice the pendant on her bouquet.
The double doors that Laura and her Dad walked through before going down the aisle were from Laura’s Great Great Grandmother’s house.
Before walking down the aisle, Laura’s Dad, Jeff, stopped to close the doors just like he did every night for Laura when she was going to sleep. It was a surprise for Laura and another nod at their traditions.
Laura and Robbie had a tree ceremony. They both poured dirt from their childhood homes and from their new home and later will plant the tree!
Take a look at the rest of their evening!
The wooden arch used for the alter was built by Laura’s Dad!
First dances in their new backyard!
What a beautiful end to a wonderful day!
Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Crafton! I loved being a small part of your day and capturing the moments that you can look back on and cherish forever!
