Luke Howard Gatlin was born on April 2, 2020. Luke entered the world during a very strange time, but nothing can change how much love was being sent to Luke and his Momma and Daddy. My family was in a big group text receiving minute to minute updates, and this is a memory that I will never forget. It’s a strange thing when your brother becomes a Dad, but even stranger to not be there to see it in person. More so than ever, I am so thankful for photographs. Even though we weren’t able to be there in person, I loved getting to see photos of Luke minutes after he was born.

We waited a long time to finally know this little guy’s name and it is a special one at that. His middle name comes from the best Mamaw and Papaw in the world. I know my Papaw was honored when Ben and Rebecca revealed his name. As you can tell, I am just smitten with this little fella as is the rest of the family! So thank you Ben & Rebecca for the most perfect nephew–I can’t wait to spoil him rotten! 🙂
